Refund Policy

1. Nature of Our Products

Medhavi Classes provides digital, intangible goods: online video lectures, downloadable step‑wise JEE paper solutions, instructional videos, mock test access, and other study materials. Once you receive access to these digital products, you immediately benefit from them, and they cannot be “returned”. Therefore, all sales are final and non‑refundable under normal circumstances.

This is consistent with standard practices of edtech platforms and is permitted under Indian law for digital content that is consumed instantly.

2. Exceptions (Valid Refund Grounds)

We honour refunds only in the following specific scenarios, as required by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (deficiency in service) and good business practice:

• Non‑delivery of product: You paid but did not receive access credentials or the digital content within 48 hours after successful payment, and our support team fails to resolve it.
• Technical unavailability: The Platform is permanently unavailable for a course you purchased (e.g., we discontinue it without replacement) and you request a refund within 15 days of discontinuation notice.
• Duplicate payment: You were charged twice for the same product due to a payment gateway error – we will refund the duplicate amount.
• Misrepresentation: The course description materially differs from what is delivered (e.g., 50 video lectures advertised but only 10 provided, and we refuse to add the rest).
• Legal requirement: A court or consumer forum orders a refund.

No refunds will be issued for: change of mind, insufficient time to study, difficulty level mismatch, or failure to clear IIT JEE.

3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under Section 2, you must follow this process:

1. Send an email to support@medhaviclasses.com within 7 days from the date of purchase or the date the issue arose.
2. Subject line: “Refund Request – [Order ID] – [Your Full Name]”.
3. Provide: order details, payment receipt (screenshot/PDF), clear explanation of the ground for refund (e.g., non‑delivery, duplicate charge), and any supporting evidence.
4. Our refunds team will acknowledge within 48 hours and investigate. We may ask for additional information (e.g., access logs, screenshots).
5. Decision will be communicated within 15 business days. If approved, refund will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.

4. No “Pro‑rata” Refunds

For subscription‑based access (e.g., monthly video library access), we do not provide partial refunds if you cancel before the end of the billing period. You may cancel your subscription anytime to avoid future charges, but the current paid period will not be refunded.

5. Free Resources Are Not Refundable

Any free resources, trial access, or promotional offers have no monetary value; therefore, no refund or compensation is applicable if they are modified or discontinued.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider without first requesting a refund through our process, we reserve the right to suspend your account and pursue recovery of any associated fees, including legal costs. Please contact us first – we are reasonable and will resolve genuine issues.

8. Legal Jurisdiction

All refund disputes are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Ranchi, Jharkhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising under this Refund Policy. You agree that any claim must be filed within one year from the date of the transaction.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will be revised. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
